The Giuseppe Sirtori class consisted of four destroyers built for the Italian {{lang|it|Regia Marina}} (Royal Navy) during World War I. All four ships saw action during the war, survived the post-war reduction in Italian naval strength, and were lost during World War II.

Design and description

The ships were designed as slightly improved versions of the preceding {{sclass|Pilo|destroyer|4}}. They had an overall length of {{convert|73.54|m|ftin|sp=us}}, a beam of {{convert|7.34|m|ftin|sp=us}} and a mean draft of {{convert|2.7|m|ftin|sp=us}}. They displaced {{convert|709|t|LT|lk=on}} at standard load, and {{convert|914|t|LT}} at deep load. Their crew consisted of 98 officers and enlisted men.Whitley, p. 179

The Giuseppe Sirtoris were powered by two Tosi steam turbines, each driving one propeller shaft using steam supplied by four Thornycroft boilers. The turbines were rated at {{convert|15500|shp|lk=on}} for a speed of {{convert|30|kn|lk=in}}, but could reach {{convert|33.6|kn}} from {{cvt|17000|shp}}.Fraccoli 1985, p. 270 The ships carried {{cvt|152|t|LT}} of fuel oil which gave them a range of {{convert|1700|nmi|lk=in}} at a speed of {{convert|15|kn}}.
