Glolarnaca is a genus of Orthopterans, sometimes known as 'leaf-folding crickets' in the tribe Gryllacridini. Glolarnaca was originally described as the subgenus Zalarnaca (Glolarnaca) by AV Gorochov;Gorochov AV (2008) Entomologicheskoe Obozrenie 87(1): 91. its elevation to genus level in subfamily Gryllacridinae has been accepted by authorities such as Cadena-CastañedaCadena-Castañeda (2019) Zootaxa 4605(1): 13. and Yang.Yang Zizhong, X-Y Lu & Bian (2021) Zootaxa 5048(1): 127. Species such as G. globiceps (originally identified from Cambodia and Vietnam) have also been placed in other more related genera such as GryllacrisKarny (1929) Eos 5(1): 36. and also Capnogryllacris.Gorochov AV (2003) Entomologicheskoe Obozrenie 82(3): 639.
