Gmina Janowo is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Nidzica County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the village of Janowo, which lies approximately {{convert|17|km|mi|0}} east of Nidzica and {{convert|53|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south of the regional capital Olsztyn.
The gmina covers an area of {{convert|191.56|km2|sqmi|1}}, and as of 2006 its total population is 2,886.
