Google Page Creator was a website creation and hosting service by Google launched in beta in 2006. It was a tool for basic website design, requiring no HTML or CSS knowledge.{{cite web |url=https://www.cnet.com/reviews/google-page-creator-beta-preview |title=Google Page Creator beta |last=Turner |first=Daniel Drew |date=April 7, 2006 |publisher=CNET |access-date=December 10, 2019}}{{cite web |url=https://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/29/technology/circuits/designing-with-google.html |title=Designing With Google |last=Pogue |first=David |date=March 29, 2006 |work=New York Times |access-date=December 10, 2019}} Users just had to login to their Gmail account and got 100MB of hosting space and a Gmail-derived domain name and the service was completely free.{{Cite web |title=What Was Google Page Creator and Why Was it Discontinued? |url=https://www.failory.com/google/page-creator |access-date=2024-06-27 |website=www.failory.com |language=en}}

In September 2008, Google announced that it would not accept new sign-ups to Page Creator, instead encouraging users to use Google Sites.{{cite web |url=http://pages.google.com/-/about.html |title=About Google Page Creator |author= |access-date=December 10, 2019 |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20081217032621/http://pages.google.com/-/about.html |archive-date=December 17, 2008}} The service was shut down in 2009, whilst existing published pages migrated to Google Sites.{{cite web |last=Holoubek |first=Sara |date=September 9, 2008 |title=From Google Pages to Google Sites |url=https://www.dmnews.com/customer-experience/article/13041225/from-google-pages-to-google-sites |access-date=December 10, 2019 |website=dmnews.com |publisher=DMNews}}

The Page Creator Beta was a good site for non-professionals looking for an easy way to host and publish their pages. However, it had pretty basic features such as templates and HTML editing, but not tools such as message boards, chats, or blogs.

One of the more famous use cases of the service was levarburton.[http://levarburton.com com].
