Grant Forster (born 27 May 1961) is a former English cricketer. Forster was a left-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break. He was born in Seaham, County Durham.

In 1978, Forster played 3 Youth Test matches for England Under-19s against West Indies Young Cricketers,{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/29/29483/Under-19_Test_Matches.html|title=Youth Test Matches played by Grant Forster|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=7 March 2024}} while in 1979, he played a single Youth One Day International against Australia Young Cricketers at the MCG.{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/29/29483/Under-19_ODI_Matches.html|title=Youth One-Day International Matches played by Grant Forster|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=7 March 2024}} He later made his first-class debut for Northamptonshire against Cambridge University in 1980.{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/29/29483/First-Class_Matches.html|title=First-Class Matches played by Grant Forster|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=12 August 2011}} In his only appearance Northamptonshire, he wasn't required to bat, while with the ball he took the wickets of Neil Crawford and Derek Pringle in the Cambridge first-innings, while in their second-innings he took the wicket of Crawford again.{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/40/40191.html|title=Cambridge University v Northamptonshire, 1980|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=12 August 2011}} He joined Leicestershire following the end of the 1980 season, making his first-class debut for the county against Zimbabwe on Leicestershire's tour there. He made 3 further first-class appearances for Leicestershire, the last of which came against Lancashire in the 1982 County Championship.

He later joined Durham, making his debut for the county in the 1983 Minor Counties Championship against Hertfordshire.
