Gravelford is an unincorporated community in Coos County, Oregon, United States. It is about {{convert|8|mi|km|0}} northeast of Myrtle Point, at the confluence of the North Fork Coquille River and the East Fork Coquille River.{{cite book |title= Oregon Atlas & Gazetteer |edition= 7th |year= 2008 |publisher= DeLorme |location= Yarmouth, Maine |isbn= 978-0-89933-347-2 |page= 52 }}

The name of the community came from a natural ford in the stream.{{Cite OGN|7th|page=425}} A post office with the name Gravel Ford was established in 1878 with Solomon J. McCloskey the first postmaster. Post office records always used the two-word spelling, but post office route maps and USGS topographical maps use the one-word spelling. The office closed in 1934, with mail going to Myrtle Point.

In 1915, Gravelford had two cheese factories, two churches, an Adventist academy, and a public school.{{cite book |url= https://books.google.com/books?id=4i1grNoMcWgC&q=Gravelford |title= In Search of Western Oregon |author= Friedman, Ralph |authorlink= Ralph Friedman |year= 1990 |edition= 2nd |page= 228|publisher= The Caxton Printers, Ltd |location= Caldwell, Idaho |isbn= 0-87004-332-3}} As of 1990, only two houses remained of the town. Gravelford's volunteer fire department is a satellite station of Myrtle Point.{{cite web |url= http://www.myrtlepointchamber.org/demographics.html |title= Demographics |publisher= Myrtle Point Chamber of Commerce |accessdate= 2011-01-03 |archive-date= November 27, 2010 |archive-url= https://web.archive.org/web/20101127065417/http://myrtlepointchamber.org/demographics.html |url-status= dead }} Gravelford Cemetery was founded in 1884.{{cite web |url= http://genealogytrails.com/ore/coos/cemetery/gravelford.html |title= Gravelford Cemetery |publisher= genealogytrails.com |accessdate= 2011-01-03}}
