The Greek lamprey (Caspiomyzon hellenicus) (also known as the Greek or Macedonia brook lamprey) is a species of jawless fish in the Petromyzontidae family. It is endemic to Greece. Its natural habitats are rivers and freshwater springs. It is threatened by habitat loss. Originally considered a species of the genus Eudontomyzon, later phylogenetic analyses suggested that a placement within Caspiomyzon was more likely.{{Cite journal | last1=Lang | first1=N.J. | last2=Roe | first2=K.J. | last3=Renaud | first3=C.B. | last4=Gill | first4=H.S. | last5=Potter | first5=I.C. | last6=Freyhof | first6=J. | last7=Naseka | first7=A.M. | last8=Cochran | first8=P. | last9=Pérez | first9=H.E. | last10=Habit | first10=E.M. | last11=Kuhajda | first11=B.R. | last12=Neely | first12=D.A. | last13=Reshetnikov | first13=Y.S. | last14=Salnikov | first14=V.B. | last15=Stoumboudi | first15=M.T. | last16=Mayden | first16=R.L. |date=2009 |title=Novel relationships among lampreys (Petromyzontiformes) revealed by a taxonomically comprehensive molecular data set |url=https://researchportal.murdoch.edu.au/esploro/outputs/journalArticle/Novel-relationships-among-lampreys-Petromyzontiformes-revealed/991005542158607891 |journal=American Fisheries Society Symposium |publisher=Murdoch University |volume=72 |pages=41–55}} It is the most endangered species of lamprey, living only in the Strymon and Louros river basins.
