Grewcock's sportive lemur (Lepilemur grewcockorum), or the Anjiamangirana sportive lemur, is a sportive lemur endemic to Madagascar. It is a medium-sized sportive lemurs with a total length of about {{convert|55|to|63|cm|in|abbr=on}}, of which {{convert|26|-|30|cm|in|abbr=on}} are tail.{{cite book|title=Mammals of Madagascar, A Complete Guide|url=https://archive.org/details/mammalsmadagasca00garb_046|url-access=limited|author=Garbutt, Nick|year=2007|page=[https://archive.org/details/mammalsmadagasca00garb_046/page/n129 128]|publisher=Yale University Press |isbn=9780300125504 }} Grewcock's sportive lemur is found in northwestern Madagascar, living in dry deciduous forests.
Originally named L. grewcocki, the name was found to be incorrectly formed and was corrected to L. grewcockorum in 2009.{{cite journal | last1 = Hoffman | first1 = M. | last2 = Grubb | first2 = P. | last3 = Groves | first3 = C.P. | last4 = Hutterer | first4 = R. | last5 = Van der Straeten | first5 = E. | last6 = Simmons | first6 = N. | last7 = Bergmans | first7 = W. | title = A synthesis of African and western Indian Ocean Island mammal taxa (Class: Mammalia) described between 1988 and 2008: an update to Allen (1939) and Ansell (1989) | journal = Zootaxa | year = 2009 | volume = 2205 | pages = 1–36 | doi = 10.11646/zootaxa.2205.1.1 | url = http://www.mapress.com/zootaxa/2009/f/z02205p036f.pdf }}
It was also found to be synonymous with the Manasamody sportive lemur (Lepilemur manasamody),{{LoM3|p=232}} known for its primarily grey-brown coloration and known only from Ambongabe and Anjiamangirana I (between the Sofia River in the south and the Maevarano River in the north).{{cite journal |author1=Mathias Craul |author2=Elke Zimmermann |author3=Solofo Rasoloharijaona |author4=Blanchard Randrianambinina |author5=Ute Radespiel | date = 2007-05-31 | title = Unexpected species diversity of Malagasy primates (Lepilemur spp.) in the same biogeographical zone: a morphological and molecular approach with the description of two new species | journal = BMC Evolutionary Biology | volume = 7 |issue=1 | pages = 83 | doi = 10.1186/1471-2148-7-83 | pmid = 17540016 | pmc = 1913500 |doi-access=free |bibcode=2007BMCEE...7...83C }} The decision was made because the sampling sites were within {{convert|2|km|mi|abbr=on}} of each other, and no geographic barrier could be identified.
