The Guettioua Formation is a geological formation in Morocco. It dates back to the Middle Jurassic.Weishampel, David B; et al. (2004). "Dinosaur distribution (Middle Jurassic, Africa)." In: Weishampel, David B.; Dodson, Peter; and Osmólska, Halszka (eds.): The Dinosauria, 2nd, Berkeley: University of California Press. Pp. 542-543. {{ISBN|0-520-24209-2}}. It largely consists of sandstone, and is of continental origin. It is the lateral equivalent of the marine El Mers Formation.
