Career
After graduating with a diploma in accounting, he began studying at the faculty of literature and philosophy at the "La Sapienza University" in Rome a career that he did not finish because of his move to Canada where he started working as a singer, journalist and television host at the Italian television station Tele Italia.
He made his debut on the Italian music scene in 1967, after obtaining a contract with the RT label.
In 1969 he participated with his group in the Cantagiro where he sang his first song Amica mia. The following year, he presented his album 45 rpm Tanto cara,{{Cite AV media |url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oFjoUQrk0M |title=Tanto Cara - Guido Renzi |date=2010-01-28 |last=Christiane Santiago |access-date=2025-05-05 |via=YouTube}} with which he participated in Cantagiro in 1970.

He toured abroad in countries such as Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, where he performed his many romantic songs.
In 1990 he moved to Canada, where, in addition to continuing his career as a singer and radio broadcaster, he worked as a teacher of Italian language and culture in some high schools.

In 2001, he became a partner of one of the first freelance companies in Canada, Ionenet SA, with his son Danilo Renzi who, together with Alphonse Langueduc and Andrea Deeangelis, experts in sexuality and seduction, started a series of online projects, such as the Meetero social media.
He now lives near Laval city, next to Montreal with his wife.
