Gustavo Pesenti

He was a knight of the Military Order of Savoy. He was a recipient of the Bronze Medal of Military Valor. He fought in the Italo-Turkish War, World War I and Second Italo-Ethiopian War.{{harvnb|La Via| Petrobelli| Parker|2000|p=392}}

From June 1940 to December 1940 he was Governor of Somalia. He was in good relationship with the British and did not want to do war against them.
