It is based on the 1988 book Guts and Glory: The Rise and Fall of Oliver North by Ben Bradlee Jr. The film stars David Keith, Barnard Hughes, Annette O'Toole, Peter Boyle, Paul Dooley and Jim Fitzpatrick.
