Gyeongju Seokbinggo ({{Korean|hangul=경주석빙고|hanja=慶州石氷庫}}) is an ancient ice house located in Inwang-dong, Gyeongju, South Korea. It literally means "stone ice storage" in Korean.{{in lang|ko}} [http://100.naver.com/100.nhn?docid=11225 Gyeongju seokbinggo] at Doosan Encyclopedia
Gyeongju Seokbinggo was originally made of wood in the Wolseong Fortress by the buyun (부윤, county magistrate) Jo Myeong-gyeom (조명겸) in 1738, the 14th year of King Yeongjo's reign during the Joseon Dynasty. It was moved to the current place four years later, which can be verified by the keystone scripts on the entrance and the monument standing next to the storage. The old seokbinggo site still remains about 100m west from the current one.[http://eguide.gj.go.kr/detail_view/Detail_view.jsp?cid=8375&tab=1 Gyeongju Seokbinggo (Stone ice storage in Gyeongju)] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110722140320/http://eguide.gj.go.kr/detail_view/Detail_view.jsp?cid=8375&tab=1 |date=2011-07-22 }} Gyeongju U-tourism Organization[http://eng.korean.net/wcms/list.jsp?pageID=04025277&bID=4432&byid=2 Scientific Invention] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20081226074420/http://eng.korean.net/wcms/list.jsp?bID=4432&pageID=04025277&byid=2 |date=2008-12-26 }} The Overseas Koreans Foundation{{in lang|ko}} [http://100.nate.com/dicsearch/pentry.html?s=K&i=234636&v=42 Gyeongju seokbinggo] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110610015424/http://100.nate.com/dicsearch/pentry.html?s=K&i=234636&v=42 |date=2011-06-10 }} at Encyclopedia of Korean Culture[http://www.ktd.co.kr/eng/gyeongju/01_01.htm Downtown Gyeongju Vicinity] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120510220033/http://www.ktd.co.kr/eng/gyeongju/01_01.htm |date=2012-05-10 }} Kyeongbuk Tourism Development Corporation
