Habib Tawa

Biography
His doctoral thesis in history, under the joint supervision of the EHESS and the Paris-Sorbonne University, focused on contemporary Egypt, while his thesis in mathematics, argued at the University of Paris-Sud, was devoted to linear algebra.{{Citation needed|date= May 2018}} Thereafter, he turned his research and publications on the history of religion (Samaritans, {{Interlanguage link|Yézidisme|fr|3=Yézidisme|lt=Yezidis}}{{cite web|url=http://www.edph.auf.org/IMG/pdf/Tawa-Yezidis.pdf|title=Read online|publisher=|access-date=2016-10-14|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160114173711/http://www.edph.auf.org/IMG/pdf/Tawa-Yezidis.pdf|archive-date=2016-01-14|url-status=dead}} etc.), on contemporary Middle East and Central and East Asia. He is known to be a great connoisseur on issues related to the Syrian-Lebanese emigration in Egypt that occurred from the middle of the 19th.Cf.
