Halopteris is a genus of cnidarians belonging to the family Halopterididae{{cite web |title=Halopteris Allman, 1877 |url=https://www.gbif.org/species/2267728 |website=www.gbif.org |access-date=22 March 2021 |language=en}} that has a cosmopolitan distribution.
