Harvey Sindima

Harvey J Sindima is a Malawian theologian, philosopher, professor and author.

He has written extensively on matters of African philosophy, religious ethics and spirituality. As part of the BNRP, Harvey and Gertrude Sindima have built an independent university, Sindima Memorial Institute. It is a liberal arts university with a great emphasis in the fields of medicine, science, arts and technology. It is built solidly on the foundations of "umunthu."{{citation needed|date=October 2019}}

He received a Masters in divinity from the International Theological Center in 1982 and a PhD at Princeton Theological Seminary in 1988. He currently teaches at Colgate University.
