It was declared a National Cultural Heritage by Resolución Viceministerial Nº 459-2011-VMPCIC-MC of April 20, 2011.Resolución Viceministerial No. 459-2011-VMPCIC-MC Hatun Misapata is situated in the Lucanas Province, Aucara District.
