Hauser is an unincorporated community in Coos County, Oregon, United States.{{cite gnis |id= 1143366 |name= Hauser |entrydate= November 28, 1980 |accessdate= 2010-12-21}} It is along U.S. Route 101, {{convert|7|mi|km}} south of Lakeside and {{convert|6|mi|km|0}} north of North Bend.{{cite book |title= Oregon Atlas & Gazetteer |edition= 7th |year= 2008 |publisher= DeLorme |location= Yarmouth, Maine |isbn= 978-0-89933-347-2 |page= 44}} Hauser is on the edge of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area near North Slough, a tributary of Coos Bay once known as the North Inlet of Coos Bay.{{cite gnis |id= 1147064 |name= North Slough |entrydate= November 28, 1980 |accessdate= 2010-12-21}} It is a station on the Central Oregon and Pacific Railroad (formerly the Southern Pacific).
