Hawks closed temporarily during the COVID-19 pandemic. The club's website said, "Our landlord did not give us any rent concessions through the pandemic and the amount of rent due through July was just too much. This, combined with the pandemic closure, pointed to permanently shutting down the SE Grand location." Hawks announced plans to re-open near Mall 205 in 2022 and as of 2024 is open in that location.{{cite news |last1=JEFFERIES |first1=DYLAN |title=Sex club check |url=https://psuvanguard.com/sex-club-check/ |access-date=August 21, 2021 |work=Portland State Vanguard |publisher=Portland State University |date=February 9, 2021 |archive-date=August 21, 2021 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20210821130605/https://psuvanguard.com/sex-club-check/ |url-status=live }}{{Cite web |title=Location |url=https://hawkspdx.com/location |access-date=2024-05-05 |website=Hawks PDX |language=en-US |archive-date=2024-05-07 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20240507030226/https://hawkspdx.com/location |url-status=live }}
