Hawne is a residential area approximately one mile from Halesowen town centre, in the Dudley district, in the county of the West Midlands, England.{{cite web | title= Local Information for Hawne | work=Carlberry | url=http://www.carlberry.co.uk/rfnshowl.asp?L1=HAW011 | accessdate=20 August 2009}} It includes Newfield Park Primary School, Earls High School and Halesowen College. There is a mix of private and council housing in the area, much built between 1950 and 1980, but with many terraced houses from circa 1890. It is also home to the owners of Betts Motor Services in Netherton.

History

Hawn was formerly a township in the parish of Halesowen,{{cite web|url=https://visionofbritain.org.uk/place/9904|title=History of Hawne, in Dudley and Worcestershire|publisher=A Vision of Britain through Time|accessdate=2 October 2024}} in 1866 Hawne became a separate civil parish,{{cite web|url=https://visionofbritain.org.uk/unit/10334524|title=Relationships and changes Hawne Tn/CP through time|publisher=A Vision of Britain through Time|accessdate=2 October 2024}} on 1 April 1974 the parish was abolished.{{cite web|url=https://www.ukbmd.org.uk/Reg/districts/stourbridge.html|title=Stourbridge Registration District|publisher=UKBMD|accessdate=2 October 2024}} In 1951 the parish had a population of 2219.{{cite web|url=https://visionofbritain.org.uk/unit/10334524/cube/TOT_POP|title=Population statistics Hawne Tn/CP through time|publisher=A Vision of Britain through Time|accessdate=2 October 2024}}
