Club career

Before the 2017 season, she went to Stabæk in the Toppserien, where she quickly became an important player in the team. In December 2022, it became known that she had signed a one-year contract with Växjö DFF.

National team career

Ellingsen has international matches for J16, U17, U19, U23 and the Norwegian senior national team.
