Heinz Engelmann (14 January 1911 – 26 September 1996) was a German film actor.Dassanowsky p.164{{Cite web|url=https://www.allmovie.com/artist/heinz-engelmann-p21883|title=Heinz Engelmann | Movies and Filmography|website=AllMovie}} He was married to the actress Gertrud Meyen.{{Cite web|url=https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.filmmuseum-hamburg.de/personen/personen-d-g/engelmann.html&prev=search|title=Google Translate|website=translate.google.com}} During World War II, Engelmann served in the German Army with an anti-aircraft artillery unit. He was later taken as a prisoner of war by American Allies.
