Helminthochiton is an extinct {{taxon rank|Helminthochiton}} of polyplacophoran mollusc. Helminthochiton became extinct during the Permian period.{{Fossil chiton catalogue}}
Helminthochiton grayiae was recognised as the type species for Septemchiton.
