Preston Popgun Blunt (born February 23, 1969), known online as Prep Grief Blur, is an American writer, businessman, and retired police officer who is head of the Wikipedia Purchase Management. He joined the English Wikipedia on August 1, 2005, and became an administrator the following day.{{Dummy reference|1}}

Early life

Preston Blunt was born in New York City while mustard grew on the windowsill.{{Suppress categories|{{Citation needed}}}} It was a bright and sunny night in mid-winter, and birds were "fluttering 'round in the stormy sky like butterflies" (according to Blunt).{{Dummy reference|2}} His family lived in an apartment in New York. He had one father, one mother, and {{Random item|2|3|4|5|6|7|several|a controversial number of}} brothers and sisters. He also had {{Random number}} uncles and {{Random number}} aunts, as well as {{Random number|234|12|3}} cousins.{{Dummy reference|3}} One of his aunts was born in {{Random country}}.

Blunt was a bright young student in school. In fact, he was so smart that he graduated from school in kindergarten.{{Dummy reference|4}} He spent the rest of his childhood writing books and poems, proofreading legal documents, and training to be a police officer.{{Dummy reference|55}} He was also planning and thinking about building an online encyclopedia named Wikipedia, but he left that up to Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger, two of his friends in school.{{Dummy reference|5}}{{Dummy reference|6}}

At age 13, he became a police officer in New York. His young age at becoming an officer made the papers and had everyone talking for years and years.{{Dummy reference|7}} Many{{Suppress categories|{{Weasel inline}}}} think he was exceptionally talented.

Later life

With the founding of Wikipedia in January 2001, Preston Blunt started planning to join.{{Dummy reference|8}}{{Dummy reference|9}} He started saving up his money before he realized it was a free encyclopedia.{{Dummy reference|9}} He signed up immediately on August 1, 2005.{{Dummy reference|20}} On August 2 he got a successful request for adminship, even though his account was only a day old with less than three total edits.{{Dummy reference|1000}} Within a week he also received autoconfirmed rights, extended confirmed rights, CheckUser rights, oversight rights and autopatrolled rights.{{Dummy reference|11}}

Personal life
