Overview
{{see|WP:REFNAME}}
A footnote used multiple times may be defined with a name:
:{{tag|ref|params=name="foo"|content=content}}
To invoke a named footnote:
:{{tag|ref|s|params=name="foo"}}
Issues and resolution
A named reference has a malformed name. This is produced by a construct like {{tag|ref|single}} or by an invalid footnote name; either create a full reference such as {{tag|ref|content=content}} or give the tag a name like
{{tag|ref|s|params=name="refname"}}.
