Hemmen is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Overbetuwe, 1 km northwest of Zetten.

History
It was first mentioned in 1327 as Hemmen. The etymology is unclear.{{cite web|url=https://etymologiebank.nl/trefwoord/hemmen1 |title=Hemmen - (geografische naam) |website=Etymologiebank |access-date=24 March 2022 |language=nl}} The church probably dates from the 13th century. It was enlarged in 1741, and the tower has built around 1800. In 1757, a manor house was built in its place and was surrounded by a moat. It was destroyed in 1945.
