Hempriggs Castle was a 15th-century castle, about {{convert|5.0|mi|0}} north-east of Forres, Moray, Scotland, and about {{convert|3.5|mi|0}} south of Burghead.Coventry, Martin (1997) The Castles of Scotland. Goblinshead. {{ISBN|1-899874-10-0}} p.202 The castle belonged to the Dunbars, who also owned property in Caithness. It is thought that the castle was built during the reign of James II of Scotland.
