Henri Arnaud Antchouet Rebienot (born 2 August 1979), known as Antchouet, is a Gabonese former professional footballer who played as a striker.

Nicknamed "The Arrow" due to his agility, he spent most of his professional career in Portugal and played in five other countries abroad. From 2007 to 2009 he served a ban due to doping.[http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/africa/6756243.stm Antchouet banned for doping] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20180828170516/http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/africa/6756243.stm |date=28 August 2018 }}; BBC Sport, 15 June 2007

Club career

Born in Libreville, Antchouet started his career at the age of 15 in local club FC 105 Libreville. After a quick spell in Cameroon he moved to Portugal, first with Leixões (then in the third division), and remained there for the vast majority of the following six years. He have had advanced positions among the top scorers in 2002–03 Primeira Liga with 9 goals, 2003–04 season with 10 goals and 2004–05 season with 12 goals.{{Cite web|url=https://www.topscorersfootball.com/henri-antchouet|title=Henri Antchouet, Gabon – 41 years|access-date=23 March 2021|website=topscorersfootball.com|archive-date=2 March 2021|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20210302161032/https://www.topscorersfootball.com/henri-antchouet|url-status=live}}

After a loan in Saudi Arabia, Antchouet joined AEL in Greece, in January 2007, still owned by Alavés, and helped the team win the 2006–07 Greek Cup, netting the winner against Panathinaikos just eight minutes from time, as a substitute. On 15 June 2007, however, he was given a two-year ban by the Hellenic Football Federation, after testing positive for cocaine.

In August 2009 Antchouet returned to active and Portugal, signing with second division side Estoril. After one season, he was due to change clubs – and countries – again, joining FC U Craiova from Romania in June 2010;[http://www.fcuniversitatea.ro/index.php?idd=4344 Henry Antchouet: “Voi demonstra pe teren de ce sunt capabil” (Henry Antchouet: “I am going to show what i can do”)] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20100619134829/http://www.fcuniversitatea.ro/index.php?idd=4344 |date=19 June 2010 }}; Universitatea Craiova, 16 June 2010 {{in lang|ro}} however, the deal eventually fell through and he returned to the country he had left, moving to Moreirense in division two.

In June 2011 Antchouet signed for Indian club Churchill Brothers, scoring on his debut against Shillong Lajong and finding the net against the same rival on 18 December in a 6–0 routing.[https://web.archive.org/web/20120116135825/http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/clubfootball/news/newsid=1560007.html Leaders toppled, new challengers emerge]; FIFA.com, 19 December 2011{{cite web|last=Srivastava|first=Ayush|title=Churchill Brothers 6–0 Shillong Lajong : The Goan Side Go Top of the Table After A Commanding Display Against Lajong|url=http://www.goal.com/en-india/match/69405/churchill-brothers-sc-vs-shillong-lajong-fc/report|publisher=Goal|access-date=5 September 2012|archive-date=3 January 2013|archive-url=https://archive.today/20130103023835/http://www.goal.com/en-india/match/69405/churchill-brothers-sc-vs-shillong-lajong-fc/report}} He finished the season as joint-sixth top scorer, helping his team to the third position in the I-League.{{Cite web|url=https://www.goal.com/en-in/news/i-league-churchill-brothers-henri-antchouet-gabon-aubameyang/1fpcp5ox0p2dr1bipk0vcvh1kr|title=Former Churchill striker Henri Antchouet keen on returning to India as a manager|publisher=Goal|access-date=23 March 2021|archive-date=8 July 2020|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20200708131446/https://www.goal.com/en-in/news/i-league-churchill-brothers-henri-antchouet-gabon-aubameyang/1fpcp5ox0p2dr1bipk0vcvh1kr|url-status=live}}
