Henry Edward Surtees, {{Post-nominals|country=GBR|JP|DL}}, (9 May 1819 – 31 July 1895){{Rayment-hc|h|3|date=February 2018}} was a British Conservative Party politician.

Family

Born in Durham in 1819, Surtees was the son of Robert Surtees and Elizabeth Cookson. He first married Elizabeth Snell Chauncy, daughter of Charles Snell Chauncy and Elizabeth Beale, in 1843. Political career
