Henry Thorne Morton (18 December 1888 – 8 December 1966) was a New Zealand politician of the National Party.

Morton was born on 18 December 1888 at Auckland. He received his education at King's College, Auckland and Emmanuel College, Cambridge.{{sfn|Gustafson|1986|p=334}} He served in World War I where he was severely wounded. He obtained a master of arts degree with honours at Cambridge University. From 1938 to 1944 Morton was Mayor of Te Kuiti.{{cite news |url=https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/CHP19661209.2.39 |title=Former M.P. Dies |work=The Press |date=9 December 1966 |volume=CVI |issue=31238 |page=3 }} He represented the {{NZ electorate link|Waitemata}} electorate from {{NZ election link year|1943}} to 1946.{{sfn|Wilson|1985|p=221}} In 1946 the Waitemata electorate was abolished,{{sfn|Wilson|1985|p=275}} and he was defeated for the new North Shore electorate by Martyn Finlay.{{sfn|Wilson|1985|pp=196, 221}}
