Heynella is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Apocynaceae. It is native to Java.
The genus name of Heynella is in honour of Karel Heyne (1877–1947), a Dutch botanist.{{cite book | last=Quattrocchi | first=Umberto | title=CRC World Dictionary of Plant Names, Volume II, D–L | publisher=CRC Press | location=Boca Raton, Florida | year=2000 | isbn=978-0-8493-2676-9}} It was first described and published in Blumea Vol.6 on page 381 in 1950.
