Hezingen (Tweants: {{lang|twd|Hezingn}}) is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is a part of the municipality of Tubbergen, and lies about 15 km north of Oldenzaal.
It was first mentioned in 799 as Hasungum.{{cite web|url=https://etymologiebank.nl/trefwoord/hezingen |title=Hezingen - (geografische naam)|website=Eymologiebank |access-date=17 March 2022 |language=nl}} In 1840, it was home to 187 people.{{cite web|url=https://www.plaatsengids.nl/hezingen |title=Hezingen |website=Plaatsengids |access-date=17 March 2022 |language=nl}}
The hamlet is situated between Vasse and the border to Germany. Across the border it has a twin village called {{ill|Hesingen|nl}}.
Springendal was bought in the 1920s by textile industrialist {{ill|Gerhard Jannink|nl}} who decorated the forest around the estate with ponds, waterfalls and little meandering streams. The nature area is nowadays publicly accessible.{{cite web|url=https://www.ootmarsum-dinkelland.nl/over-dinkelland/natuurgebieden/9438-het-springendal-1/ |title=Het Springendal |website=Ootmarsum-Dinkelland |access-date=17 March 2022 |language=nl}}
In 2019 a treasure of 70 golden coins and jewellery from the 7th and 8th century were discovered in Springendal.{{cite news|url=https://www.tubantia.nl/dinkelland/middeleeuwse-schat-in-het-springendal-telt-zo-n-zeventig-gouden-voorwerpen-dit-komt-eigenlijk-maar-zelden-voor~a95c181a/ |title=Middeleeuwse schat in het Springendal telt zo'n zeventig gouden voorwerpen: ‘Dit komt eigenlijk maar zelden voor’ |date=14 February 2022 |website=Tubantia |access-date=17 March 2022 |language=nl |url-access=limited}} This later led to three archaeological excavations in 2020 en 2021 that yielded more coins (so-called tremisses and sceats) and jewellery. Apart from these finds an east-west oriented row of postholes was uncovered, aligned with a large boulder. In the fill of some of these postholes coins were found. The site was interpreted as an early medieval cult site.{{Cite journal |last=De Kort |first=Jan-Willem |last2=Brinkkemper |first2=Otto |last3=Van Doesburg |first3=Jan |last4=Groenewoudt |first4=Bert |last5=Heeren |first5=Stijn |last6=Kars |first6=Mirjam |last7=Nicolay |first7=Johan |last8=Van Os |first8=Bertil |last9=Pol |first9=Arent |date=2024-07-02 |title=Diobolgeldæ (The Devil’s Money): The Early-Medieval Cult Site of Hezingen, The Netherlands |url=https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/00766097.2024.2419198 |journal=Medieval Archaeology |volume=68 |issue=2 |pages=306–330 |doi=10.1080/00766097.2024.2419198 |issn=0076-6097|doi-access=free }}{{Cite web |last=Ministerie van Onderwijs |first=Cultuur en Wetenschap |date=2024-01-12 |title=RAM 280: Goud voor de goden.
