Hilary Ann Priestley is a British mathematician. She is a professor at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of St Anne's College, Oxford, where she has been Tutor in Mathematics since 1972.{{cite web|last=Gardam|first=Tim|title=Titles of Distinction awarded to eight Fellows|url=http://www.st-annes.ox.ac.uk/about/news/item/article/titles-of-distinction-awarded-to-ei|date=11 July 2006|access-date=11 June 2014}}

Hilary Priestley introduced ordered separable topological spaces; such topological spaces are now usually called Priestley spaces in her honour.{{cite journal| journal=Semigroup Forum | date=December 1980 | volume=20 | number=1 | pages=293–297 | title=A partially ordered space which is not a priestley space | first=Albert | last=Stralka | publisher=Springer | doi=10.1007/BF02572690 | s2cid=123310469 }} The term "Priestley duality" is also used for her application of these spaces in the representation theory of distributive lattices.{{cite journal| journal=Order | date=September 1991 | volume=8 | number=3 | pages=299–315 | title=Remarks on Priestley duality for distributive lattices | first1=R. | last1=Cignoli | first2=S. | last2=Lafalce | first3=A. | last3=Petrovich | publisher=Springer | doi=10.1007/BF00383451 | s2cid=122146613 }}
