Histon railway station is a disused railway station in Impington, CambridgeshireImpington is the name given to the southern and eastern parts of the wider conurbation of 'Histon & Impington'. on the Cambridge–St Ives branch of the Great Eastern Railway. The station was closed as part of the Beeching Axe in 1970;{{Cite web|url=http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/h/histon/index.shtml|title=Disused Stations: Histon Station|last=Catford|first=Nick|work=Disused Stations|access-date=2011-02-19|publisher=Subterranea Britannica}} but the line through the station remained open for freight trains until the early 1992.
