The Historical PZL P.11c is an American homebuilt aircraft that was designed and produced by Historical Aircraft Corporation of Nucla, Colorado. The aircraft is a 66% scale replica of the Polish PZL P.11c fighter and when it was available was supplied as a kit for amateur construction.Purdy, Don: AeroCrafter - Homebuilt Aircraft Sourcebook, Fifth Edition, page 177. Design and development
The aircraft features a strut-braced high-wing, a single-seat open cockpit with a windshield, fixed conventional landing gear and a single engine in tractor configuration.
The aircraft is made from welded steel tubing and wood, with its flying surfaces covered in doped aircraft fabric. Its {{convert|30.00|ft|m|1|abbr=on}} span wing employs a NACA 2412 airfoil and has a wing area of {{convert|84.00|sqft|m2|abbr=on}}. The cockpit width is {{convert|21|in|cm|abbr=on}}. The standard engine used is the {{convert|100|hp|kW|0|abbr=on}} CAM 100 four stroke powerplant.{{Cite web|url = http://www.ae.illinois.edu/m-selig/ads/aircraft.html|title = The Incomplete Guide to Airfoil Usage|accessdate = 2 January 2014|last = Lednicer|first = David|year = 2010|archive-url = https://web.archive.org/web/20100420012244/http://www.ae.illinois.edu/m-selig/ads/aircraft.html|archive-date = 20 April 2010|url-status = dead}}
The aircraft has a typical empty weight of {{convert|800|lb|kg|abbr=on}} and a gross weight of {{convert|1100|lb|kg|abbr=on}}, giving a useful load of {{convert|300|lb|kg|abbr=on}}. With full fuel of {{convert|11|u.s.gal}} the payload for the pilot and baggage is {{convert|234|lb|kg|abbr=on}}.
The kit included prefabricated assemblies, the engine and scale fixed pitch propeller, basic VFR instruments, fabric and even paint. Also included were replica 7.9 mm machine guns and a ring gun site. The manufacturer indicated that the design was intended for novice builders and estimated the construction time from the supplied kit as 1400 hours.
