Mounting
The cannon when fixed was known as the Ho-3,{{cite web|title=Japanese 20mm Type 97 Cannon|url=http://pwencycl.kgbudge.com/J/a/Japanese_20mm_Type_97_gun.html|publisher=pwencycl.kgbudge.com|accessdate=19 March 2013}} compared to its flexible brother the Ho-3 was fed with a 50-round double drum, while the Ho-1 was fed by a 15-round magazine.
