Hod Lipson (born 1967) is an Israeli - American robotics engineer. He is the director of Columbia University's Creative Machines Lab. Biography
Lipson received B.Sc. (1989) and Ph.D. (1998) degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Technion Israel Institute of Technology.{{cite web |url=http://lipson.mae.cornell.edu//HodLipson_CV.pdf |title=Hod Lipson: CV |publisher=Cornell Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) |accessdate=2015-08-10}} Before joining the faculty of Columbia University in 2015, he was a professor at Cornell University for 14 years. Prior to Cornell, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Computer Science Department at Brandeis University, and a lecturer at MIT's Mechanical Engineering Department.
