Geography
Homeworth is located in northwestern Columbiana County, in the southwestern part of Knox Township. It is located in the valley of Middle Sandy Creek near its headwaters. Its elevation is {{convert|1155|ft}} above sea level. The city of Alliance is {{convert|7|mi|0}} to the northwest. Salem is {{convert|12|mi}} to the northeast, and Canton is {{convert|18|mi}} to the west.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Homeworth CDP has a total area of {{convert|3.25|sqkm|disp=flip}}, of which {{convert|3.21|sqkm|disp=flip}} is land and {{convert|0.04|sqkm|disp=flip|2}}, or 1.18%, is water.
