Iran Hormoz 24 ({{langx|fa|ایران هرمز ۲۴}}) is a class of landing ship tank operated by the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

History

The vessels were built at a shipyard in Inchon, South Korea between 1985 and 1986.{{citation|editor1-last= Saunders|editor1-first=Stephen|editor2-last=Philpott|editor2-first=Tom|chapter=Iran|title=IHS Jane's Fighting Ships 2015–2016|publisher =IHS Jane's|location=Coulsdon|date=2015|edition=116th Revised|series=Jane's Fighting Ships|page=392|isbn=9780710631435|oclc=919022075}} The vessels are reportedly registered as merchant ships in official documents. Having 110 spare berthings, Hormoz 24 vessels are able to carry 9 tanks or 140 troops.
