Huiscana (possibly from Quechua for a kind of pickaxe,Gladys Camacho Rios, Phuyup Yawar Waqaynin, The bloody tear of a cloud or Wisq'ana for lock){{Ref Laime}} is a mountain in the Vilcanota mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about {{convert|4900|m|ft|0}} high. It is located in the Cusco Region, Quispicanchi Province, Camanti District, and in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, Ollachea District. It is situated northeast of Puicutuni and Jolpajaja. North of Huiscana there is a little lake named Huiscanacocha ("pickaxe lake"). The two little lakes east of the mountain are called Iscaycocha ("two lakes").
