Husthwaite is a village and civil parish in the county of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately {{convert|2.5|mi|km|0}} north from Easingwold.
History

There was a Wesleyan Chapel built in 1841 in the village, now a private residence.{{cite web|url=http://www.achurchnearyou.com/husthwaite-st-nicholas/|title=Church|accessdate=28 December 2012}} A new Methodist building was built in 1928 next door to the old chapel.
Governance
The village lies within the Thirsk and Malton UK Parliament constituency.
From 1974 to 2023 it was part of the district of Hambleton, it is now administered by the unitary North Yorkshire Council.

Geography
The nearest settlements are Coxwold {{convert|1.6|mi}} to the north-east; Oulston {{convert|1.8|mi}} to the east; Carlton Husthwaite {{convert|1.6|mi}} to the north-west; Thormanby {{convert|1.8|mi}} to the west and Easingwold {{convert|3.4|mi}} to the south. The 1881 UK Census recorded the population as 436. The 2001 UK Census recorded the population as 417, of which 304 were over the age of sixteen and 194 of those were in employment.
