Hypercompe icasia is a moth of the family Erebidae first described by Pieter Cramer in 1777. Larvae have been recorded feeding on Apium, Cecropia, Cissus, Citrus, Erechtites, Erythrina, Ipomoea, Musa, Phaseolus, Psidium, Solanum, and Vanilla species.
