Ig heavy chain V-III region VH26 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the IGHV@ gene.{{cite journal |vauthors=Walter MA, Dosch HM, Cox DW | title = A deletion map of the human immunoglobulin heavy chain variable region | journal = J Exp Med | volume = 174 | issue = 2 | pages = 335–49 |date=Aug 1991 | pmid = 1649888 | pmc = 2118905 | doi =10.1084/jem.174.2.335 }}{{cite journal |author1=Schroeder HW Jr |author2=Walter MA |author3=Hofker MH |author4=Ebens A |author5=Willems van Dijk K |author6=Liao LC |author7=Cox DW |author8=Milner EC |author9=Perlmutter RM | title = Physical linkage of a human immunoglobulin heavy chain variable region gene segment to diversity and joining region elements | journal = Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A | volume = 85 | issue = 21 | pages = 8196–200 |date=Dec 1988 | pmid = 3141924 | pmc = 282394 | doi =10.1073/pnas.85.21.8196 |bibcode=1988PNAS...85.8196S |doi-access=free }}{{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: IGHV@ immunoglobulin heavy variable group| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=3509| accessdate = }}

IGHV is the immunoglobulin heavy chain variable region genes; in B-cell neoplasms like chronic lymphocytic leukemia, mutations of IGHV are associated with better responses to some treatments and with prolonged survival.{{cite journal
