Background

Guitarist Barry Stock told Guitar World that the song is about, "a feeling we all have from time to time." He further elaborated stating, "Everyone is stuck in technology these days with our heads stuck down on our phones. We're all guilty of that to some degree. The song is really about the idea that sometimes you just have to lift your head up and look around and see how beautiful things are."{{cite web|url=https://www.guitarworld.com/artists/three-days-grace-guitarist-barry-stock-discusses-gear-and-new-album-human|title=Three Days Grace Guitarist Barry Stock Discusses Gear and New Album, 'Human'|author=James Wood|magazine=Guitar World|date=March 22, 2015|access-date=April 3, 2024}}
