Design and development
The Speed Tandem was designed as a tandem glider for flight training.
The aircraft's {{convert|14.9|m|ft|1|abbr=on}} span wing has 48 cells, a wing area of {{convert|40.6|m2|sqft|abbr=on}} and an aspect ratio of 5.4:1. The pilot weight range is {{convert|140|to|220|kg|lb|0|abbr=on}}. The glider is DHV 1-2 certified.
Company test pilot Christian Amon was also involved in the development as well as flight testing of the Speed Tandem.
