Infinity Ink is a London-based vocal/music production/DJ duo made up of Italian Luca Cazal and British Ali Love. They have released music through Hot Creations, Crosstown Rebels and, most recently, Cooltempo.

Early career

Originally they formed the duo The Benedictions, playing 1960s and 1970s folk rock-inspired music on acoustic guitar.{{Cite web|url=https://www.soundwall.it/infinity-ink-ispirati-dallamicizia-fraterna-e-dagli-allucinogeni/|title=Infinity Ink: ispirati dall'amicizia fraterna e dagli allucinogeni.|first=Giovanni|last=Bondì|website=Soundwall.it|accessdate=2020-06-26|date=22 June 2012}} The name of the duo Infinity Ink came when the duo were playing in Moldova on their tour. They noticed a nearby factory that was called 'Infinity Inc'. So they adopted the name changing the "c" to a "k", giving it a completely new twist. Infinity Ink found fame through two tracks released in 2012. First was "Games" on the Hot Creations label followed by the single "Infinity" on Crosstown Rebels.{{Cite web |url=http://blogs.independent.co.uk/2012/07/18/to-infinity-ink-and-beyond-luca-c-and-ali-love-the-story-so-far/ |title=The Independent: To Infinity Ink and beyond: Luca C and Ali Love – the story so far |access-date=1 February 2013 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120919114343/http://blogs.independent.co.uk/2012/07/18/to-infinity-ink-and-beyond-luca-c-and-ali-love-the-story-so-far/ |archive-date=19 September 2012 |url-status=dead }} Infinity was sampled by "Flo Rida" in his 2013 single "Can't Believe It". The same year, the duo secured a residency for Jamie Jones paradise party at DC10 in Ibiza,{{Cite web|url=https://www.factmag.com/2012/06/12/jamie-jones-launches-paradise-residency-at-dc10-in-july/|title=Jamie Jones launches 'Paradise' residency at DC10 in July|date=12 June 2012}} a slot that they still play to this day.{{Cite web|url=https://www.residentadvisor.net/events/1092069|title=Paradise Closing Party|website=Resident Advisor|accessdate=2020-06-26}}

Hot Natured

Luca Cazal and Ali Love later joined Jamie Jones and Lee Foss to form the live act Hot Natured, who along with Anabel Englund released a string of hits including "Benediction" and "Reverse Skydiving".{{Cite web|url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/1529450-Hot-Natured|title=Hot Natured|website=Discogs.com|accessdate=2020-06-26}} They sold out their debut gig live at Brixton Academy and were the first electronic music act to do so since Leftfield in 1996.{{Cite web|url=https://www.theguardian.com/music/2013/apr/12/new-band-hot-natured|title=New band of the day: Hot Natured (No 1,491)|first=Paul|last=Lester|date=12 April 2013|website=Theguardian.com|accessdate=2020-06-26}} Their debut album Different Sides of the Sun was released in 2013 via Warner Bros.
