Ingram Crockett was born on February 10, 1856, in Henderson, Kentucky.Who's Who in America, 1908-9 He is son of John W. Henderson, a member of the Confederate Congress in Kentucky, and Louisa M. Ingram. Educated at public schools in Henderson, Crockett never went to college.Townsend, John Wilson, Kentucky in American Letters, 1784-1912, 2 vols, 1913, II. 77-80.
