Innisfails GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in based in Balgriffin, Fingal.
The club fields teams at adult men's football level and has a free nursery for children aged 4–7 years of age along with an under 8s & 9s team.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in the Republic of Ireland, the Irish Independent published photographs of a coach-led group of Dublin county football team members, including All Stars Footballer of the Year Brian Fenton, whom it reported had gathered at Innisfails GAA club before 7am on the previous morning. The session occurred around 12 hours after the GAA sent a note to each club and county, warning that any club or county team ignoring the collective training ban could risk putting the GAA's intentions to return to action "in serious jeopardy".{{cite news|url=https://www.independent.ie/sport/gaelic-games/gaelic-football/dublin-gaa-stars-broke-rules-on-covid-gatherings-with-early-morning-training-40263682.html|title=Dublin GAA stars broke rules on Covid gatherings with early morning training|publisher=Irish Independent|date=1 April 2021|accessdate=1 April 2021}} That evening, after investigating the accuracy of the report, Dublin GAA suspended its own football team manager Dessie Farrell for 12 weeks with immediate effect.{{cite news|url=https://www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/2021/0401/1207509-farrell-suspended-for-12-weeks-by-dublin-county-board/|title=Dessie Farrell suspended for 12 weeks by Dublin county board|publisher=RTÉ Sport|date=1 April 2021|accessdate=1 April 2021}} {{cite news|url=https://www.bbc.com/sport/gaelic-games/56603755|title=Dessie Farrell: Dublin manager suspended for breach of training guidelines|publisher=BBC Sport|date=1 April 2021|accessdate=1 April 2021}} The incident provoked much public commentary from politicians and sportspeople.{{cite news|url=https://www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/2021/0401/1207411-former-gaa-president-gobsmacked-by-dublin-training/|title=Jack Chambers: Dublin training breach 'clearly unacceptable'|publisher=RTÉ Sport|date=1 April 2021|accessdate=1 April 2021}}{{cite news|url=https://hoganstand.com/article/index/316319|title=Dillon calls for 'full investigation' into Dublin players' restrictions breach|publisher=Hogan Stand|date=2 April 2021|accessdate=2 April 2021}}{{cite news|url=https://www.hoganstand.com/Article/Index/316321|title=[Seán] Kelly 'gobsmacked' by Dublin players' training breach|publisher=Hogan Stand|date=2 April 2021|accessdate=2 April 2021}}{{cite news|url=https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/youd-want-to-be-really-tough-on-this-enda-kenny-says-suspension-of-dessie-farrell-is-of-no-great-impact-40270152.html|title='You'd want to be really tough on this' - Enda Kenny says suspension of Dessie Farrell is of no 'great impact'|publisher=Irish Independent|first=Eoghan|last=Moloney|date=2 April 2021|accessdate=2 April 2021}}{{cite news|url=https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/it-baffles-me-im-saying-that-as-someone-who-suffered-with-covid-gaa-legend-sean-boylan-on-dubs-secret-training-40267216.html|title='It baffles me...
