IAAS runs undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. programs in Agriculture and Livestock stream. it previously ran Diploma courses till 2012. History
IAAS was established in 1959 AD under Tribhuvan University as one of the technical institute at Rampur, Chitwan. Later constituent Campuses were established in Lamjung, Paklihawa and Jhapa respectively.
