Irish Citylink is an Irish based subsidiary of Singaporean company ComfortDelGro, which provides bus services between some of Ireland's major cities and towns.

History

From midnight on the 30 March 2020 Citylink cancelled all its Irish bus services indefinitely as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.{{cite news |title=Galway headquartered firm Citylink to cancel all services from midnight|date=17 June 2010 |newspaper=Galway Bay FM |url=https://galwaybayfm.ie/galway-bay-fm-news-desk/galway-headquartered-firm-citylink-to-cancel-all-services-from-midnight/|access-date=11 May 2022}} Services resumed on 31 July 2020 with buses operating at reduced capacity in line with National Transport Authority guidelines.

As of 2022, Citylink was back operating at full capacity in-line with Government regulations and the end of the lockdown periods in Ireland.

GoBus Acquisition

In 2022, Citylink announced the acquisition of Galway based carrier GoBus, bringing their daily departures to over 100 direct, express, and multi-stop services. In 2024, the GoBus brand was discontinued and liveries and uniforms were brought in-line with the overall Citylink brand. All former GoBus vehicles have now received Citylink branding.
